A Ukrainian delegation from Odesa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by the President Tryfon Antov, visited Burgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria.
During the meeting with the Chairman of Burgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Todor Demirkov, and Executive Director, Boriana Zheleva, prospects for cooperation were discussed, a Memorandum was signed, and the heads of both chambers exchanged gifts as a sign of partnership and friendship.
The parties agreed to inform each other about promising areas of collaboration in trade and investment, encourage chamber members to engage in joint activities, and provide advice and support for partnership projects within the framework of European development programmes.
A particular attention was paid to the exchange of information on conferences and exhibitions in the Republic of Bulgaria in order to provide technical support and maximum assistance to their members.
The President of Odesa RCCI shared the ongoing problems faced by the Ukrainian business in the current environment.
There are plans to hold a round table between the chambers of commerce and industry with the representatives of Ukrainian business to discuss opportunities for entering the Bulgarian market.
