Today, an important event for the agricultural sector of Southern Ukraine took place — the Institute of Climate-Oriented Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, headed by the Director Rayisa Vozhehova, and Odesa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, headed by the President Tryfon Antov, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
This document confirms the parties' intentions to work together on the development of climate-resilient agriculture, the latest technologies implementation, systematic analysis, optimisation and artificial intelligence to improve the agricultural production efficiency on irrigated and non-irrigated land in the Odesa region.
The Institute, as a leading scientific and organisational centre in the field of climate change and its impact on agriculture, and ORCCI which brings together enterprises and entrepreneurs in the region, are joining forces to develop the economy, support agribusiness and implement innovative solutions.
This cooperation will contribute to the scientific researches deepening, specialists' professional development, business contacts establishment as well as participation in exhibitions and other events that stimulate the agricultural sector growth in a transforming economy.
